Will somebody please explain to me why someone with Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars would give it to any web site, let along the Encyclopedia Dramatica? I mean, I can understand people doing something like that for luls. I had plenty of people give me all sorts of crap just for their own $#!*s and giggles. But someone actually parted with _that much money?_ What sort of a loser basement dweller has that much money on them with nothing else to do with it than to give it to a troll site? Before anyone point fingers at me telling me how bad I suck, think of this idiot.
(And just for the record, I don't care what they call it, they can call it a harmless parody site to my face til they're blue in theirs. As long as they have a page on me which gets #1 in Google Searches for my legal name, it's a Troll Site, and a Troll Site they'll remain until they take it off.)

That cannot be legal for them to do, can it?

I mean, most rich people would buy things for themselves, or if they are generous, they'd donate to the Red Cross or something.

Just take a fifteen minute intermission, boys.
Or better yet, send that much money to a struggling artist who is targeted by the ED. (Not necessarily me; there's a lot of them out there. Anyone who been targeted would appreciate any gesture that states that the ED doesn't have a monopoly on people's opinion of them.)

That said, I assume the person donating that money didn't even think of all the other wonderful places where his/her money could go to good use.

That's beyond pathetic, that's like some kind of "super-pathetic." I could understand donating that much to say YouTube or Wikipedia. Hell, the last time Wikipedia was asking for money, several anonymous donors gave over a million dollars. That's because Wikipedia is an excellent website.
I've poked through ED when I'm bored and need stuff to read. Yes, I've seen the page on you, and yes, it's pretty damn troll-ish. It's a really stupid website.
Although, I have to admit, their poster of Dr. House after "It was lupus." really cracked me up. I think they'd be a better website if they just targetted pop culture and internet things. Go bug the people who believe in Pokemon, instead.
